St. Peter Catholic Career & Technical High School was founded in 2022 with the mission of empowering students to be models of faith through Catholic spiritual formation while providing a creative and comprehensive education in career and technical pathways

The school offers a four-year Catholic high school curriculum, with opportunities for students to select from various career and technical Academic Pathways to receive both a high school diploma and industry certifications upon graduation. The current Academic Pathways are:

- Founded in 2022
- Accredited by the TCCBED – Texas Conference of Catholic Bishops Education Department and TEPSAC – Texas Private School Accreditation Commission.
- Governed by an independent Board of Trustees.
Location
- The school is located on a ten-acre campus in Houston’s historic Third Ward – near the intersection of Old Spanish Trail and Scott St., south of both Texas Southern University and the University of Houston and east of the Texas Medical Center.
- In the fall of 2022, construction and renovation began on the old St. Peter the Apostle grade school building which was closed in 2019.
- The facility has been completely renovated – the academic building is a two-story, 17,000+ square foot state of the art facility with a total of 20 classrooms, collaboration rooms, learning centers, meeting rooms, and a Library.
- The campus also includes a Gymnasium, locker rooms, a Cafeteria kitchen, large parking area and an outdoor field.

School History
- Construction and renovation of the old St. Peter the Apostle grade school began in the fall of 2022.
- The first school year was the 2023 – 2024 – 10 students in 9th Grade.
- Began the school year in August 2023 at St. Dominic Center.
- Moved into the renovated current facility in February 2024 during the first school year.
- Second school year – 2024 – 2025 – 26 students:
- 11 in 10th Grade
- 15 in 9th Grade
- In the 2025 – 2026 school year we will have three grades – 9th Grade, 10th Grade, and 11th Grade.
- In the 2026 – 2027 school year we will have all four high school grades – 9th Grade, 10th Grade, 11th Grade, and our first senior class of 12th grade.

Additional pathways will be added in the future. Students can also attend four years of Catholic high school and then continue onto college.
