WHAT A NIGHT FOR THE LADY GUARDIANS!
Yesterday evening marked the first official home game in Lady Guardians Volleyball history, and what an exciting night it was! Our full team took the court in their brand-new uniforms in front of an incredible home crowd.
A huge THANK YOU to our students, faculty, and staff who stayed to cheer on our team, and to all of our parents who came out to support their students. Your energy from the stands made the night even more special! A special shout-out to our senior class who took time out of their day yesterday to make a banner to cheer on the team - thank you for demonstrating great Guardian spirit and leadership!
While the Lady Guardians came up just short in the full match, this team showed tremendous grit, determination, and heart and significant improvement from last year`s scrimmage game. After splitting the first two games, the third game was a back-and-forth battle that came down to the wire. The Lady Guardians fought hard until the very end!
And there was a historic moment in the middle of it all: decisively winning the second game in the match marked the first time in program history that a St. Peter Catholic athletic team has ever won a game!
That first game win in last night`s match - is more than just a point on the scoreboard — it’s a glimpse of the promise and potential of this team and our growing athletic program. We are incredibly proud of our Lady Guardians and can`t wait to see where this journey takes them!
Last Friday, our seniors had the opportunity to visit Merrill Lynch and Bank of America in downtown Houston for an inspiring day of career exploration and professional development.
Students heard from leaders across wealth management, commercial banking, community relations, and financial services about career paths, workplace expectations, and what it takes to be successful in the professional world. They also toured the Merrill Private Wealth Management offices and experienced firsthand the opportunities available in the financial services industry.
A special thank you to Champ Warren Managing Director – Private Wealth Advisor, Merrill Private Wealth Management and the Merrill Lynch and Bank of America team members for investing in our students and helping them see what’s possible for their futures!
Checkmate! The St. Peter Catholic Chess Club is officially underway!
One of the exciting signs of growth at St. Peter Catholic this year is happening outside the classroom, too!
With our significant increase in enrollment and the addition of an incredible group of new faculty and staff, we have more students—and more adults—to make new opportunities possible. In past years, our student-led organizations were primarily Campus Ministry Team and Student Council. This year, we have more requests for additional clubs and activities—and our growing faculty and staff are able to step up and help make them happen!
The new Chess Club is one of those opportunities. It`s a chance for students to challenge themselves, build strategy and critical-thinking skills, and enjoy some friendly competition with their classmates during our daily Community Time.
Last Friday, our St. Peter Catholic Board of Trustees gathered at the University of St. Thomas for our annual Board Retreat. It was a meaningful and productive day of reflection, planning, and collaboration as our Board and school leadership continue working together to prepare for continued growth and an exciting year ahead.
A special thank you to each of our Board members for your time, leadership, active participation, and commitment to the mission and future of St. Peter Catholic. Your partnership is instrumental as we prepare for a successful school year—and our Inaugural Founders Gala!

It’s been a long time coming, but the wait is finally over! On Monday afternoon, the St. Peter Catholic community gathered in the Gym for the official Guardians Athletic Uniform Reveal!
For the first time, our athletes are proudly wearing official uniforms as we begin our journey in an athletic league with three sports—Girls Volleyball, Boys Basketball, and Boys Soccer!
The excitement was contagious as each coach selected two student-athletes from their team to be the first ones to see the new uniforms, put them on and then step onto the court and unveil the new uniforms to the entire student body.
This is more than just a new uniform. It’s another milestone in the growth of St. Peter Catholic—and another way our students are learning to Develop Your Skills. Live Your Faith.
And now…the games begin! Come cheer on our Lady Guardians Girls Volleyball team this Wednesday night at 5:30 PM for their FIRST HOME GAME!
